Fumigation is the most effective away to control severe and persistent pest infestations. Fumigation works by filling a confined and sealed space; such as a home, store room, truck, boat or office with fumigant and then saturating this area with pesticides. By doing so, all of the pests, their eggs and nests can be targeted in in those hard to reaches places - places that wouldn't usually be reached with other pest control methods and products.
The process sees the area sealed off (ie doors & windows closed) which helps to create a sealed gas-tight environment. After fumigation has taken place, the area will remain sealed at a suitable temperature and for an appropriate time to kill the invisible pests within this area. These conditions, when achieved correctly, effectively control and kills the pests at all development stages and in adult form.
When the treatment is completed, and after the fumigant has been safely ventilated, no residual effect remains.
