But How Does it Work?

This innovative solution is installed during the building process and adapts to all types of construction, while at the same time being environmentally friendly.

The KORDON® termite barrier is the combination of a physical and chemical barrier intended to prevent termites from entering the buildings. It’s composed of a synthetic fabric impregnated with synthetic pyrethroid deltamethrin, laminated between two polyethylene films.

The polyethylene films are designed to limit any contact with the active substance for the applicator and the environment, and to prevent capillary rising. The installation of KORDON® termite barrier aims to ensure protection of the future building against termites. KORDON® can be installed either as a complete barrier or as a perimeter barrier. The perimeter installation also acts as a termite protection system for pipes and penetrations.
